On July 10, 2025, Computer Reach proudly celebrated a major milestone, our 25th anniversary. Hosted in the Rossin Campus Center Ballroom at Washington & Jefferson College, the event commemorated a quarter-century of community impact and extended heartfelt appreciation to the donors, partners, volunteers, and supporters who have helped us reach this growth.
The importance of this event was more than just a celebration, it was a testament to resilience. In an increasingly challenging environment for nonprofits, where funding and grants are shrinking, this event also served to raise vital support to help sustain our mission. Thanks to generous fiscal donations, proceeds from our exciting raffle baskets, and a triple match from committed donors, we were able to raise nearly $20,000. These proceeds are a tremendous boost for our programs, outreach efforts, and aid in keeping our mission strong.
More than 30 guests attended the celebration, with excitement building around the 26 raffle baskets and prizes generously donated by local businesses and community partners. From sports tickets to various flavored bags of popcorn, the prizes sparked enthusiasm and support from attendees, all in the spirit of helping Computer Reach continue to grow.
Computer Reach would like to extend a special thank you to Christie Johnson of Ignite, whose leadership, insight, and ongoing support were instrumental in bringing this event to life. Her partnership has been invaluable to us over the years and we look forward to continuing to work together.
We are also incredibly grateful to the local vendors who joined us at the event. The Washington Brewery, hosted a cash bar, sharing their fantastic beverages and always showing up for their community. Additional thanks goes to: The Teen Center, May Contain Nuts Bake Shop, and Washington STEAMworks. Not only did they donate raffle baskets, but they also shared their own missions and community contributions with our guests.
