Computer Reach now partners with Pittsburgh-based Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti
On Tuesday September 10, 2013 8 Linux computers running Edubuntu 13.04 were granted to the Functional Literacy Ministry of Haiti, based in Pittsburgh,for educational and medical missions serving in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The leader of FLM , Dr.Leon Pamphile will be overseeing the distribution and training of the teachers using our Open Source Software system on recycled computers. Our Computer Reach team will begin a two year support relationship with Dr. Pamphile and the Haiti Tec team on the ground in Port-au-Prince.
