CCAC & Schell Games Offering Paid Gaming Apprenticeship in Fall 2022
Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and Schell Games are teaming up to offer a paid technology apprenticeship program for students interested in entering the gaming industry. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn and earn.
Paid Apprenticeship in Gaming
Launching in Fall 2022, CCAC and Schell Games’ apprenticeship program offers a blend of classroom study (20 hours per week) and paid on-the-job training (20 hours per week) to students interested in entering the gaming industry. Schell Games will cover the full cost of tuition for accepted students, in addition to public transit or parking passes to cover students’ commutes.
Participation in this program will count towards a 3-year Associate Degree in multimedia, programming, simulation, and gaming at CCAC. Training will also include professional development and company-specific onboarding.
