Free Technology Series Available to Housing Authority Residents

Residents of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh are invited to attend a technology series that will explore affordable home internet, staying safe online, emailing tips, and more!

AARP Foundation Technology Series

The Housing Authority of Pittsburgh is inviting its residents to a virtual AARP Foundation Technology Series which will explore a range of tech topics, including:

  • Affordable Home Internet – February 15 | 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Affordable Connectivity Program – February 22 | 10:00 – 11:15 a.m.
  • Telemedicine – February 28 | 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Smartphones – March 9 | 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Finding Information Online – March 15 | 10:00 – 11:15 a.m.
  • Staying Safe Online – March 22 | 12:00 – 1:15 p.m.
  • Gmail Tips & Tricks – April 5 | 10:00 – 11:15 a.m.

Classes will be taught by Senior Planet trainers in conjunction with AARP and held virtually via Zoom. Links to each class will be sent out the day before class.
