National Digital Navigator Corps

By launching the National Digital Navigator Corps, the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) is extending the digital navigator model to areas of the United States that lack resources at present. Digital Navigators added through this expansion will “open doors to thousands of residents to transform their lives” through online opportunities, including education, workforce, citizen participation, and social activities.

Grant Details

This grant, which is part of a $10 million investment from Google.org, will support the hiring of a community-based Digital Navigator alongside Computer Reach staff programmatic and technical support to further develop the NDIA Digital Navigator model for rural and Tribal communities. Digital Navigators at the 18 selected sub-grantee organizations, including Computer Reach, will help thousands of residents to gain much-needed access to the internet, devices, and digital skills training.

Computer Reach will use the $320,450 grant to hire, train, and support a new Digital Navigator based in Washington County, PA, who will serve rural communities over a 30 month period ending May 2025.
