Program Gets 100 Wilkinsburg Families Connected to the Internet

As of May 31, Computer Reach has helped nearly 100 families in Wilkinsburg get connected to the internet. There are roughly 100 free Wi-Fi Hotspots left for distribution. Sign up today!

Wilkinsburg Digital Inclusion Project

Thanks to a grant from the Eden Hall Foundation, Computer Reach launched the Wilkinsburg Digital Inclusion project to positively impact the lives of families in our community. The project helps families in Wilkinsburg bridge the digital divide by providing the following at no cost:

  • 1 Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • 1 Year of Free Unlimited Internet Access
  • In-Person Device Setup and Orientation
  • Virtual/Phone/In-Person Device and Digital Literacy Support

200 devices are available in total. Nearly 100 devices have already been distributed to families.

Who is eligible?

To participate in the program, you must be a Wilkinsburg Borough resident who:

  • has a K-12 or college student living at home,
  • is an expectant/new parent,
  • or babysits K-12 children.

How to Receive Free Internet

To sign up, please complete our online registration form. Once your form is processed, you will receive a call from our team to schedule device setup and an orientation session at your residence.
