Volunteer Work Days

On our Friday volunteer work days we evaluate recently donated computers, refurbishing the ones that we are able to repair and responsibly de-manufacturing those that are too old or not repairable. We also test monitors, keyboards and mice, and pack up computer systems for shipment to clients.

No Experience Needed

We’ll teach you how we do our work when you arrive. We provide the necessary tools and equipment. Volunteer events always include both technical and non-technical activities so there is something for everyone to do.

Children and Groups

Please contact us at volunteers@ComputerReach.Org before scheduling a group event, or scheduling a volunteer less than 18 years old. We would like to match our warehouse opportunities with the abilities of your child or group.

Where?

The Computer Reach warehouse is located inside Construction Junction in the Point Breeze neighborhood of the East End of Pittsburgh.

Construction Junction is located at the intersection of N. Lexington Street and Thomas Street. Free on-street parking is available.

We can host individual and group recycling events  on reserved dates and times ( other than our weekly routine Friday 9:30AM – 3:30PM events ) for volunteers from your school, business, church or community center.  These special events are done on a case-by-case basis, in coordination with your needs and our leadership team’s availability.  We can also come to your site to conduct computer events.
