Pitt to Host PA Broadband Symposium
You’re invited to join the University of Pittsburgh and state and regional partners on Friday, April 22 for the 2022 Pennsylvania Broadband Symposium. This is a free, virtual event.
What is the PA Broadband Symposium?
The Pennsylvania Broadband Symposium will convene local, state, and regional stakeholders to strategize, identify funding sources, and coordinate efforts for delivering broadband to the 800,000+ Pennsylvanians who lack access to robust, reliable, high-speed internet.
With the ongoing pandemic magnifying the impact of the digital divide on education, employment, and health care, there has been an increase in funding opportunities focused on bridging the digital divide in Pennsylvania once and for all. As the University of Pittsburgh stated,
“Now is the time to coordinate efforts to expand high-speed internet access and foster digital literacy in underserved areas of the Commonwealth.”
Join the University of Pittsburgh (and other state and regional stakeholders) on Friday, April 22 to strategize and coordinate efforts to ensure underserved Pennsylvanians receive the support they need to thrive in the 21st century.
