Summer Program Helps Students Explore Computer Science Pathways

STEM Coding Lab is offering CS Explorers, a free summer program that helps students in grades 6 – 9 explore Computer Science pathways. If you’re a parent, educator, or community leader who regularly interacts with students, help spread the word!

CS Explorers Program

In partnership with the Pittsburgh Technology Council and Fortyx80, STEM Coding Lab will offer its exciting CS Explorers program this summer. Now in its second year, the program provides opportunities for students going into grades 6 – 9 to learn about Computer Science and its varying career pathways. Students will participate in hands-on activities designed to:

  • inspire curiosity,
  • reinforce the utility of Computer Science in daily life,
  • and galvanize the next generation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) professionals.
