Are you interested in starting a career in cybersecurity? If so, the University of Pittsburgh’s Bootcamp for Non-tech Professionals can help you build the skills you need to enter the field. Scholarships available.
Bootcamp for Non-tech Professionals
The University of Pittsburgh’s online Bootcamp for Non-tech Professionals helps individuals build the technical skills they need to transition into the cybersecurity field. During the program, participants:
- learn the basics of computer networking and how the internet works,
- understand the basics of programming and troubleshooting using Python,
- use virtualization software to manage different operating systems,
- and more.
Students can move through the course at their own pace and meet on a periodic basis with their instructor to review materials/assignments and ask questions.
Scholarship Applications
Scholarships are available for non-tech professionals who are members of underrepresented groups in tech. All applications must be submitted by July 1, 2022. The bootcamp will begin on July 11, 2022.
