Our Work with Life Male STEAM Academy

120 Laptops Will Be Distributed

Computer Reach is working to get 120 Windows laptops into the hands of students and instructors at Life Male STEAM Academy (LMSA), a new STEAM-focused charter school in the Woodland Hills School District. 100 laptops will be distributed to 6th and 7th graders at the school, with the remaining 20 laptops being distributed to instructors.

What is Life Male STEAM Academy?

Life Male STEAM Academy (LMSA) is a charter school that helps young men prepare for college, careers, and success. Founded in 2015, it is the only K-12 male academy with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) focused course of study in the region. The academy also serves as a catalyst to increase the presence of African American males in the STEM pipeline. Currently, LMSA is only enrolling 6th and 7th grade boys. However, they will increase the number of children and ages they serve through 2031. See their timeline.
