About the Event

Hosted by the Microsoft Philanthropies Technology Education and Learning Support in Schools (TEALS) Program, “Paving the Way for an Inclusive Future Tech Workforce” will explore how you can be an ally in ensuring that every student has access to digital skills and opportunities. During the event, you will:

• learn about the barriers often facing historically underrepresented people in the tech industry,
• gain tips from industry experts on how to be an ally and support young people pursuing tech careers,
• hear from a panel of TEALS volunteers on how they support classroom educators in learning to teach CS through team teaching (and the impact it has made in their community),
• and find out how to help increase access to computer science education in U.S. high schools by joining TEALS as a volunteer or referring a candidate from your network.
